Grown in Oman. Built by our family.
Three generations of date farming. Now bringing our harvest to America.
Oman. Cradle of the Arabian date.
Our family farm sits at the base of the Al-Hajar Mountains, in a valley that has produced dates for centuries. The elevation, the dry desert heat, and the cool mountain nights are what give Omani dates their depth.
We harvest once a year, in late summer, when the dates reach peak ripeness on the tree. No early picking. No artificial ripening. Just sun, time, and patience.

Ibrahim & Justin
ANAT was co-founded by Ibrahim and Justin, two friends in graduate school seeking to fuel early-morning workouts and long days in the lab.
Ibrahim grew up on the farm and studied food science and the gut microbiome. Justin came in through fermented foods and food science. They kept reaching for the same snack mid-ride and mid-shift: the dates Ibrahim's family had been growing for generations.
Three steps. No shortcuts.
Harvest
Hand-harvested at peak ripeness in late summer. Climbed, cut, and carried — never machine-shaken.
Quality Check
Every batch inspected for color, texture, and size. Imperfect dates stay on the farm.
Minimal Processing
Sun-dried. No additives. No blending across harvests. What you taste is what we grew.
